Aims / Objectives

The project aims to revive the so-called ‘gate streets’, create new opportunities for young creative craft designers by taking up the empty buildings for short periods, stimulate a learning network among craft artists and designers, and develop effective support measures for creative businesses of handmade design. Through these actions the city aims to generate a new creative buzz and to profile Bruges as a centre of modern handcraft design, reattracting creative minds to the city.
